R.A.M.P.A.G.E. teammate and Durotar Realm Champion Nicholas Teng will be playing at the North American Continental Championships today, piloting JDJs homebrewed Mythen “Atenean” of the Wild druid control.

Nick, we wish you the best of skill and luck! ^_^

Update:

Nick enters day 2 with an 8-2 record! He switched to Death Wish control for the tournament, making him the only Warrior in Day 1′s top 8. The coverage of the event can be found here.

Congratulations on your Day 1 finish! :D

(Late) Update Update:

Unfortunately, Nick hadn’t been able to get past the draft portion. Nevertheless, we’re still very proud of him! ^_^

Here’s his decklist from Day 1, which is an updated version of the deck that he used in the Durotar Championships:

Nick says that his latest version of DW is better at handling mirror matches – beating even the eventual champion Tim Rivera, and 3 other Death Wish decks in the elimination rounds. He also beat 1 Priest, 2 Alliance Mages, and Skyler Stewart’s Warlock during their Round 9 feature match, along the way.

Congratulations again Nick, and onward to Worlds! ^_^
