We are down to the last two competitors as we bring today’s Realm Championship Qualifier to a finish.  Standing toe-to-toe at the final table is Danniel “Paxi” Alcantara with his [Rohashu, Zealot of the Sun] “Blessing and Crusade” deck, and Michael Ryan Villamayor with his [Suncaller Haruh] HordeStone deck.  Paxi has overwhelmed his opponents with his relentless assault of allies buffed by the Paladin Ongoing abilities, even beating Michael during a previous round.  Michael’s priest has bounced back from his loss against Rohashu and has relied on protection and card advantage in order to bring him to the final table.  Will this finals match be a replay of the previous round, or will Suncaller Haruh be able to stand against the odds and pull off a victory?

Two paragons of Holiness face off in the semi-finals of the 5th Zangarmarsh Realm Championship Qualifier.  In one corner stands Martin Jacob Hildawa, whose solo [Rohashu, Zealot of the Sun] relied on the mettle of steel to get him this far into the event.  In the other corner is Michael Ryan Villamayor, whose [Suncaller Haruh] HordeStone deck has dominated his opponents with magical protection and acceleration.  Only one can move on to the finals, and neither will go down without a fight.

After several rounds of play, two unorthodox decks go face to face in the Top 8.  Martin, with his [Rohashu, Zealot of the Sun] solo deck, has buried his opponents underneath a sea of weapons and armors, while Tomii’s [Frizlix of Kezan] control deck has run circles around opposing decks with his tricky plays and a huge octopus pet.  In this classic Paladin vs. Rogue matchup, who will reign supreme?

The dust has settled after the quarterfinals, and standing face-to-face for this semi-final match is Jerome Tan and Aaron Arpon. Aaron’s Samaku, Hand of the Tempest HordeStone deck made short work of his quarterfinals opponent with the [Erunak Stonespeaker] + [Blazing Elemental Totem] combo. But how will he fare against Jerome’s Rohashu, Zealot of the Sun Holy Control deck? Will Jerome’s unorthodox deck choice save him from the brutal beatdown that HordeStone shaman decks are capable of?

After a long afternoon with 7 rounds of play, we arrive at the Top 8 for the second Realm Championships Qualifier for the Zangarmarsh Realm. First up, is the match between Aaron Arpon and Team Rampage’s Marlo Cruz. Aaron has been crushing rivals the whole day with his Samaku, Hand of the Tempest HordeStone deck, while Marlo has relied on Dragonkin power and [Violet Proto-Drake] to bring him and his Zin’sul deck all the way to the top 8. It’s Ramp Beatdown vs. Mid-game Control. Who will prevail?
